It reminds me of the revelation that any one of us can now publish a book fairly easily and relatively inexpensively. Yet, few do. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We need to think differently about our small businesses and what tools we can use to get the word out. I&#039;d encourage you to issue a press release about your business since you have the skills just waiting to be unleashed for your benefit.</description>

They were typically distributed through PR Newswire and Business Wire, which can get pretty expensive. And they typically focused on things like executive appointments, industry awards, and new products or services.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Guess I&#039;ve never really thought about attempting to generate news, about my copywriting business, let alone publishing it. With the online resources available now, though,  it makes sense to give the topic another look.</description>
